Japan Won World’s Best Non OIC Emerging Halal Destination 2016
Good News from Japan! The second World Halal Tourism Award 2016 has just been held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 7 December 2016. The award is done by collecting a number of 1.9 million votes across the 16 Halal tourism categories. The winners were announced and Japan won the World's Best Non-OIC Emerging Halal Destination category.

The judge panellists were independent committees representing the leaders in the halal tourism industry. They include the Chairman of Halalbooking.com, Director of Center for Halal Quality Certification, CEO of Jordan Tourism Board, and many more.
It is such a good news that Japan has been awarded best Non-OIC Emerging Halal Destination. It is a proof that the government and people of Japan have been putting their best effort to create a Muslim friendly destination for Muslim travellers. Congratulation Japan, keep up the good work!
