Osaka Mosque opened in 2010 and located in the central area of Osaka. It has four floors in the building with the first floor used for Halal shops, second floor as prayer hall, 3rd floor as Islamic madrasah, and the fourth floor for kitchen and dining hall.

2. Osaka Ibaraki Mosque, Ibaraki

Osaka Ibaraki Mosque is the heart of Islamic centre in Ibaraki. Besides conducting daily prayers, it also conducts Islamic lectures, Qur'an reading class, arranging Islamic wedding for Ijab and Qabul, and also jenazah prayer and gusl of mayyah (Washing and Shrouding of the Deceased).

3. Kansai International Airport Prayer Rooms, Izumisano

Kansai international airports provide three rooms for Muslim prayer. Two rooms are located at the international departure gate area (North wing and South wing), and another room is on the 3rd floor of terminal 1. All of the rooms separate the section for men and women. They also provide ablution place and rental of prayer equipment.

4. JR Osaka Station City Prayer Room, Kita

A prayer room is available in JR Osaka station city on the first floor of south gate building. The facility open from 11 am to 7 pm and you should inform the Osaka City Information Centre before using it. They will then assist and direct you to the prayer room. A separated sections are available for men and women as well as ablution place.

5. Kansai Tourist Information Centre Prayer Room, Shinsaibashi

This prayer room is located in the tourist information centre Kansai located just behind the Tommy Helfiger store in the busy shopping district Shinsaibashi Osaka. If you happen to be around Shinsabai and need a place to pray, this centre provides a clean and decent rooms for prayer. They even provide prayer mats and prayer clothes. The room is located on the third floor of this building.

6. Rinku Premium Outlet Prayer Room, Izumisano

Rinku outlet malls is a very famous shopping outlet and only 10 minutes away from Kansai international airport, there is a shuttle bus from the airport to this outlet malls. They provide a prayer room for visitors, however, the prayer room door is always locked, thus you must inform the officer if you want to use it. They will gladly send you to the room and open the door for you. Qiblat direction is provided on its ceiling but men and women share the same room. 7. Namba City Prayer Room, Chuo

A prayer room is available in Namba City shopping mall on its main building first basement floor. It includes wudhu space and a separate room for men and women. You will have to come to the information centre and apply to use the room by filling up their form. The prayer room is open for every religion to use, not only Muslim. As space is limited, each group is given 30 minutes to use the facilities.

8. Laox Daimaru Shinsaibashi Prayer Room, Shinsaibashi

Laox Shinsaibashi shopping mall provides a prayer room for their visitor on its seventh floor. Men and women rooms are separated, prayer mat and Qibla direction are provided. There is also Muslim friendly souvenirs shop on its eight floor that sells Halal and Muslim friendly snacks and other eateries for you to bring back home. Good news for Muslim shopping lovers who plan to visit one of Mitsui outlet mall branch in Osaka. Lalaport Expocity provides a prayer room for Muslim. The room for men and women are separated and they also provide a place to take ablution. However, as the room is always locked you need to ask the receptionist in information counter on the first floor to get the security code to enter the room.
